I’m a Chicagoland journalist with a passion for multimedia storytelling. I care about stories that help us recognize the humanity in all of us and provide a platform for Asian/Asian American voices.
Right now, I split my time between interning at WBEZ’s Morning Shift; freelancing for 22nd Century Media; and helping others discover the magic of libraries at Deerfield Public Library as a patron services assistant. Before that, I spent two years reporting as a general assignment and education reporter for Hearst Connecticut Media.
My work has been published in multiple newspapers belonging to 22nd Century Media and Hearst Connecticut Media, as well as The News-Gazette, which ran my award-winning story, “A stronger bond.”
When I’m not working, I love to connect with people who share similar passions and creative pursuits — especially over a good cup of coffee. Want to connect? Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
